Brittany Adams began her dance training at Jackson’s School of Performing Arts, where she learned early on the importance of expression through movement. She pursued her degree at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland and graduated with distinction with a double major in Elementary Education and Dance. During her education, she also attended American Theatre Dance Workshop and Bates Dance Festival. Brittany is a RYT 200 yoga instructor, and completed her training under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Lindh at Lakshmi Rising Yoga & Wellness in Sona, Italy.
Brittany has studied under and performed the works of many notable artists, including Kim Epifano, Doug Varone, Gabriel Masson, Kathleen Hermsdorf and Miguel Gutierrez. She has also performed locally for the Civic Ballet, Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society, Gilbert & Sullivan, National Dance Theatre of Bermuda and the Bermuda Festival. Brittany teaches full time at Saltus Grammar School and is the co-director at Jackson’s School of Performing Arts.
Alexis Richens graduated cum laude from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, as well as a Business Management degree and a minor in Marketing. In her final year of university, Alexis received the Outstanding Senior in Dance award and served as the Student Representative for the Dance Department. She began her dance training at Jackson’s School of Performing Arts, where she studied various styles of dance.

Alexis has choreographed for Jacksonville University’s concert, One Spark, DanceSations, and Bermuda Civic Ballet, and has competed in the American College Dance Festival Association. She has performed in numerous recitals, productions, and pantomimes, and attended several dance intensives hosted by the National Dance Foundation of Bermuda in partnership with American Ballet Theatre. As a member of the National Dance Foundation of Bermuda Fund, Alexis continues to support the development of the local dance community and is the choreographer for the December 2025 Bermuda Pantomime. Her university training provided the opportunity to work with notable artists including Kristin Gallagher Flato (Ballet Mistress of The Suzanne Farrell Ballet), Stacey Tookey, Koresh Dance Company, and many others. Alexis performed with the Tempo Salsa Dancing Pro Team in April 2024, and in July 2024 she won Overall Bikini Bodybuilding Champion at Bermuda's Royal Grand Prix. She later competed again in November 2024, placing 2nd in her Bikini class at the Bahamas Caribbean Grand Prix. She performed again with the Tempo Pro Team in April 2025 and made her international debut with Tempo Pro Team Bermuda in May 2025 at the B.I.G. Salsa Festival in New York City.

Alexis works at Bespoke Analytics and has been the co-owner, Artistic Co-Director, and an instructor at Jackson’s School of Performing Arts since 2019.
Barbara Frith studied under E. Virginia Williams at the Boston School of Ballet. She was a member of the Boston Ballet Company and has studied with Luigi and Alvin Ailey.
Barbara has choreographed and performed in over a dozen pantomimes for BMDS and the National Dance Theatre of Bermuda, of which she was one of the founders and board members. She was also on the Executive Committee of the Gilbert &Sullivan Society and has appeared in their productions of The Boyfriend and had lead roles in Annie, Company and Chicago.
Barbara choreographed the Gilbert & Sullivan productions of The King and I, Me an My Gal, Pirates of Penzance, Les Miserable, Carmen, Into the Woods, Cabaret and directed and choreographed Anything Goes.
Sophia Cannonier, ballerina and movement expert, danced professionally with the Dance Theatre of Harlem and Aretha Franklin. She began her classical training in Bermuda under the tutelage of Madame Ana Roje and Madame Patricia Deane-Gray, OBE and she continues the legacy, instilling her students with a deep appreciation for the Legat Ballet Method. Sophia is a second generation Pilates Method Teacher Trainer and opened Bermuda’s First Pilates and Gyrotonic studios in 1998. She enjoys weaving together a tapestry of disciplines, including yoga and the Aerial Arts, that elevate strength, flexibility, artistry and technique. Sophia has served as the Chair of the Bermuda Arts Council and has been honored with several ‘Best of Bermuda’ Awards. She is married to Fascia Structural Integration expert, Michael Watson, and together they have raised three amazing, dancing children, Ravi, Vidya and Inanna.
Shaydrina Hassell is a trained dancer and passionate instructor bringing years of experience to her new role at a JSPA. Shaydrina began her dance journey at the Jackson School of Performing Arts (JSPA) at just three years old, where she trained in various styles of dance until the age of 18. Her dedication and talent opened doors to prestigious programs, including the Bates Summer Program, the American Ballet Theatre's summer intensive held in Bermuda for two consecutive years, and the renowned Debbie Allen Dance Academy. While pursuing her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University, Shaydrina continued to nurture her love for dance as a member of the WVU Dance Company from 2009 to 2013. She also gained valuable teaching experience at JSPA, where she taught hip-hop and beginner modern dance classes to children and adolescents.

In addition to her dance credentials, Shaydrina holds a Master of Arts degree from Drexel University, with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling. She recently launched her business, Flowidity Therapy, which uses movement as a powerful tool to support mental health and emotional well-being. Shaydrina is thrilled to return to the studio, sharing her passion for dance while fostering confidence, creativity, and expression in every student.
Skye Minors is an artist, choreographer and dancer hailing from Sandys, Bermuda. She began dancing here in Bermuda and has also trained at Del Arts and Dance Conservatory in Delaware. She recently graduated with a BFA in Dance at Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts at Howard University. She has studied several styles of dance including ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, pointe, and African dance. She has also had the privilege to study under several artists on Broadway and renowned choreographers in the industry. Her dance endeavors have allowed her to study at the Dance Education Laboratory in New York City and Assemblée Internationale Conference at Canada's National Ballet School. She has also used her talents to perform at Disney’s Dance the Magic and has participated in several social issue awareness dance competitions. Her reach has also extended as a performer in Howard University x Complexions “Black Is Beautiful” choreographed by Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson at The Joyce and “Dilikia” by Andile Ndlovu at the Orpheum Theatre. Skye continues to pursue dance and dance education and plans to earn a masters in dance education.
Quince’e Jones was born and raised on the island of Bermuda and has loved the art of dance since the age of five. However, her passion for dance bloomed at the age of sixteen when she began her dance training in hip-hop, modern, African, and ballet. Quince'e became a member of "Rated E Dance Crew!", a Bermuda-based dance group that focuses on styles of hip-hop and afro-fusion. While training, she found an interest in teaching and helping the peers around her. Quince’e pursued her teaching degree at Bermuda College and graduated with an Associate in Science (Education). During her education, Quince’e auditioned and participated in TROIKA’s annual FYE dance showcase “In Living Color” which gave her the opportunity to network with local choreographers and dancers. After graduating, she auditioned and was cast as Teaspoon in the TROIKA Broadway production, “SARAFINA!” in Bermuda. Quince’e is a full-time nursery teachers’ assistant and teaches part time at Jackson’s School of Performing Arts.
